Spillplaz am Weier – Western playground in Grevenmacher

Spillplaz am Weier in Grevenmacher is designed as a small Western world. Between the saloon, shop and a “Most Wanted” photo stand, children can step into cowboy and gold-digger roles and invent their own stories. The playground is one of the places officially listed by the City of Grevenmacher and was recently renewed.

The Playground

The theme of Spillplaz am Weier is the Wild West, and the individual stations follow that idea. In the saloon, children can play their own cowboy scenes; in the shop, they can trade and imagine small exchanges. The “Most Wanted” photo stand adds another role-play detail.

For small gold diggers, the sand area includes moulds for making gold bars. This connects classic sand play with a story children can step into. Spillplaz am Weier is one of several playgrounds listed by Grevenmacher, alongside Rabaukendorf Laangwiss, Spillplaz am Pietert and Spillplaz op der Heckmill.

The city has recently renewed and reopened the place. We keep it separate from the other Grevenmacher playgrounds: Moselle and water-play elements belong to other sites and are not mixed into this profile.
